Father asks to have separate trial from son in shooting death of Warren postal worker

The motion was filed Tuesday in the U.S. Northern District Court of Ohio on behalf of Thomas Sledge, 45, who, along with his son Kaprise Sledge, 25, is charged with murder of an officer or employee of the United States and use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
