Construction and trees being felled can now be heard as crews are tearing down brush and trees from an island in the middle of the Rio Grande, which law enforcement have said can be used to hide and smuggle immigrants into the United States. Border Report went to the island on Monday, March 2 with locals who say they don’t want it chopped down.
