The state has awarded nearly $61 million in grants to help communities clean up contaminated properties and prepare them for new life, with nearly $1 million going to clean up the former Miller Holzwarth Property in Salem, $1 million for upgrades to the YMCA of Youngstown, and over $900,000 for assessment and remediation at the historic YMCA building in downtown Warren.
