Tennis Superstar Carlos Alcaraz Debuts The Travis Scott “Cactus Court” Sneakers

The sneaker game may not be what it was just a few years ago but best believe when a Nike x Travis Scott collaboration drops, hypebeasts will come out the woodworks to get themselves some of that merchandise.
On Monday (Aug. 31), the Travis Scott “Cactus Court” collection dropped in limited quantities in New York City and while it wasn’t the madhouse that it would’ve been in 2020, it still drew quite the number of people who needed the latest Cactus Jack x Nike collab in their lives. Featuring some tennis attire and a few sneakers, hypebeasts took to the streets of China Town to get some exclusive merch while the getting was hot.
Adding to the hype of the release was none other than tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz, who actually wore a pair of the Travis Scott x Cactus Jack x Nike Zoom Vapor 12 HC during his match at the U.S. Open earlier in the day. The move came right after Nike dropped a new commercial spot featuring the 23-year-old tennis superstar and Travis Scott sharing a tennis court. Scott dared not take on the 2026 ESPY’s award winner for Best Tennis Player, but instead built him up as a force of nature saying, “You can either crash and burn, or burn it all down, but, sh*t, knowing you? The only way you come in cold is to come in hot.”
Anytime an athlete can style in some exclusive Travis Scott x Nike kicks while playing in front of the world, y’all know they good money. Rocking the Travis Scott x Cactus Jack x Nike Zoom Vapor 12 HC, Alcarazz was able to easily beat Roman Safiullin to advance to the second round of the U.S. Open.
Must’ve been the shoes.
