Avengers Endgame: Encore has finally hit theaters with some special Thursday night screenings and fans who relived the 2019 classic comic book film in IMAX and Infinity Vision were treated to three post-credits scenes that lead directly into the highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.
With only a few months to go before fans witness the debut of Doctor Doom in the MCU, the Russo brothers (Joe and Anthony Russo) added some extra scenes to their original epic, Endgame to set the stage for the introduction of Victor Von Doom and build more hype for their next installment into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doomsday.

As we all remember the original ending to Avengers: Endgame ended with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) sharing a decades long delayed dance in the 1950’s before the screen cut to black and the credits rolled. This time around in Endgame: Encore, the dance between the two lovebirds is interrupted by a sudden knock on the door. As Peggy answered and Steve hid behind a wall, a man can be heard speaking outside the door and as he entered it was revealed to be none other than the God of Stories himself, Loki. Decked out in his TVA attire, Loki enters the home before locking eyes with Steve Rogers before the credits roll.
While we’re sure Loki paid them a visit to inform them that Steve deciding to stay in the past caused an incursion that will lead to the end of two worlds, we’re still wondering if rumors that Loki moving Steve and Peggy to the Fantastic Four universe to live peacefully (and leading to the tragic origin story of Doctor Doom) will ultimately pan out.
Then we find ourselves in an underground facility where Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) is locked up as he says his latest incident as the Hulk caused him to remove himself from society for the time being. Imprisoning himself two miles underground at a military facility, Banner attempts to explain his latest scientific findings to a camera before the lights flicker and a eerily green glow envelopes the room. After asking the perpetrator to identify himself, a voice can be heard saying “I’ve come to collect you” before you hear a roaring Hulk followed by silence and a green Latverian symbol burned into the ground.
Will Doctor Doom have his own evil Hulk in Doomsday? That may be the case.
The third post-credits scene takes us into the TVA headquarters where everyone is freaking out at the amount of worlds colliding with the numbers jumping from the hundreds to the thousands in seconds including the worlds which featured Eric Bana’s 2003’s Hulk and Michael B. Jordan’s Human Torch in 2015’s Fantastic 4. Unfortunately for them none of them will be missed (no shots).
Then we see that final shot of Robert Downey Dr. hammering out his iron mask in 2008’s Iron Man before quickly seeing it as a Doctor Doom mask before everything cuts to black.
As cool as these scenes were, all it did was leave fans wanting more (as the Russo brothers intended) and has everyone counting down the days to the premier of Avengers: Doomsday which according to reports has had it’s test screenings score higher than the original test screening to Avengers: Endgame. Now that’s saying something.
