Republican Heather Hill is preparing for the May 5 primary and had been running with Stuart Moats as her lieutenant governor candidate. Saturday, Hill announced she would replace Moats as her running mate after “irreconcilable differences,” alleging Moats used a racial slur to describe Hill. Moats denied the allegations.
