THE PLAINS, Ohio (WCMH) — One man has been confirmed dead after a fire destroyed an Athens County apartment Tuesday morning. Investigators are still determining what caused a massive fire that killed one man on Cross Street in The Plains, near the intersection of north West Third Street and north of the city of Athens.
