Cavaliers officially sign northeast Ohio native
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Cleveland Cavaliers officially signed forward Chris Livingston to a two-way contract on Tuesday.
Livingston is a native of northeast Ohio, having attended high school at both Akron Buchtel and Western Reserve Academy in Hudson.
While playing at Buchtel in 2021, he was named Gatorade Ohio Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
He played parts of the last two seasons in the NBA with Milwaukee after being selected with the No. 58 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.
Last season, Livingston appeared in 21 games for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Over his two-year NBA career in Milwaukee, he appeared in 42 games as well as four career postseason games.
Cleveland’s roster now sits at 17 players, including three Two-Way players.
