LOUD 102.3 – Kid Cudi Online Sweepstakes Addendum

This addendum supplements the official contest rules of LOUD 102.3 and applies specifically to the Kid Cudi Online Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). In the event of any conflict, this addendum shall govern for this promotion only.

1. Sweepstakes Overview

The Kid Cudi Online Sweepstakes is an online-only promotion conducted via the Station’s official website. Participants must complete the designated entry form located on the official contest page.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes entry period shall begin and end as specified on the official contest page at loud1023.com. Entries submitted outside of the designated timeframe will not be eligible. The Station’s system clock will be the official timekeeping device.

3. How to Enter

To enter:

Visit the official contest page
Complete all required registration fields
Submit the entry form

Limit one (1) entry per person/email address unless otherwise stated. Duplicate or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.

The Station is not responsible for incomplete, late, misdirected, or failed entries due to technical issues or internet congestion.

4. Eligibility Restrictions (Contest-Specific)

In addition to the Station’s general eligibility rules:

Only one (1) winner per household is permitted for this Sweepstakes
Individuals who have won a prize valued at $600 or more from the Station within the past six (6) months may be ineligible
Standard employee and affiliate exclusions apply
5. Winner Selection

Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible online entries received during the Sweepstakes period.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6. Winner Notification

Selected winner(s) will be contacted using the information provided at the time of entry (phone and/or email).

The Station will attempt to contact the selected winner in accordance with Section 5 of the official rules. Failure to respond or confirm eligibility may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Prize Details

Prize details, including description and approximate retail value, will be listed on the official contest page.

All prizes are awarded “as is” and are subject to availability and any restrictions imposed by the prize provider. The Station is not responsible for changes to prize fulfillment.

8. Online Entry Conditions

By entering online, participants acknowledge:

Internet access is required to participate
Standard data rates and connectivity issues may apply
The Station is not responsible for technical failures, website outages, or submission errors

Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.

9. Data Collection and Use

Information collected through the entry form may be used by the Station for:

Contest administration
Winner notification
Promotional and marketing purposes, consistent with Station privacy policies

Entrants may have the option to opt-in for additional communications.

10. Disqualification / Tampering

Any attempt to:

Submit multiple entries using different identities
Use automated entry systems
Interfere with the operation of the Sweepstakes

may result in disqualification at the Station’s sole discretion.

11. General Conditions

This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Station reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time if necessary.

LOUD 102.3 CONTEST RULES

The following are the standard rules governing all contests broadcast on WLOA-AM 1470AM & W272EI 102.3 FM, owned by Icon Media Entertainment, LLC based in Youngstown, OH and it’s respective translators on 102.3FM operated from Youngstown, OH or through its website www.loud1023.com and related stream players (all of the foregoing collectively referred to herein as “Loud 102.3”), unless otherwise specified.

1. Eligibility

Contests conducted by LOUD 102.3 (the “Station”) are open to legal residents of the State of Ohio who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, unless otherwise specified. Employees of the Station, its parent company, affiliated entities, sponsors, advertising agencies, and immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate or win.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins and ends on dates and times as specified on-air, online, or via official Station materials. The Station’s clock shall be the official timekeeping device.

3. How to Enter / No Purchase Necessary

Listeners may enter contests via one or more of the following methods:

  • On-air call-in
  • Online entry at the Station’s official website
  • Mobile app or social media platforms

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase the chances of winning.

Entry methods, timing, and limitations will be specified for each individual contest.

4. Online Streaming Disclaimer

For contests that require listeners to call in or respond to an on-air cue (e.g., “cue to call” promotions), participants should be aware that listening via online stream, mobile app, or smart speaker may involve a delay compared to over-the-air broadcast.

This delay may impact the listener’s ability to be the correct caller or to participate in time-sensitive contest elements. The Station is not responsible for such delays, and over-the-air broadcast will be considered the official contest signal.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected based on the contest format (e.g., random drawing, caller number, judged entry). Decisions of LOUD 102.3 are final.

Winners will be notified by phone, email, or direct message using the contact information provided at the time of entry. The Station will attempt to contact selected winners up to three (3) times within the first forty-eight (48) hours following the end of the contest period in order to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or does not confirm eligibility within this timeframe, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be randomly selected from the pool of eligible entries, at the Station’s sole discretion.

6. Prizes

Prizes will be described on-air, online, or through official Station materials. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted except at the Station’s discretion. The Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Winners must claim their prize within thirty (30) days from the end of the official contest period, unless otherwise specified by the Station. Any prize not claimed within this timeframe will be forfeited.

Unless otherwise specified, prizes must be claimed in person at 131 W. Boardman St., Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Winners should follow any additional instructions provided by LOUD 102.3 regarding prize pickup. Failure to claim a prize during the designated timeframe and hours may result in forfeiture.

In certain cases, the Station may, at its sole discretion, offer to mail or electronically deliver prizes; however, such delivery is not guaranteed. The Station is not responsible for prizes that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received due to issues including but not limited to postal errors, incorrect mailing addresses, invalid email addresses, spam filters, or technical malfunctions of any kind.

Forfeited prizes may, at the Station’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate winner, which may be selected through a random drawing or other method consistent with the original contest rules. If no alternate winner is selected, the prize may revert to the Station or the prize sponsor, if applicable.

For prizes involving event tickets or time-sensitive experiences, winners acknowledge that such prizes may be subject to specific dates, times, venues, and terms set by the event provider. If a winner is unable to attend the event on the specified date(s), the prize will be forfeited and no substitution or compensation will be provided, unless otherwise determined by the Station. The Station is not responsible for event cancellations, postponements, or changes in schedule, venue, or lineup. Any changes are subject to the policies of the event organizer, venue, or ticket provider.

7. Prize Claim

Winners may be required to:

  • Present valid government-issued photo identification
  • Sign a release and/or affidavit of eligibility
  • Claim prizes within a specified timeframe

Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the prize.

8. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize winnings are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes valued at $600 or more may require completion of an IRS Form W-9 and issuance of a Form 1099.

9. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to:

  • Abide by these rules and the decisions of the Station
  • Release and hold harmless the Station and its affiliates from any liability related to the contest or prize use
  • Allow the Station to use their name, voice, likeness, and biographical information for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law

10. Disqualification

The Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Violates contest rules
  • Tampers with the entry process
  • Engages in fraudulent or disruptive behavior

11. Limitation of Liability

The Station is not responsible for:

  • Technical failures of any kind
  • Lost, late, or misdirected entries
  • Any injury or damage resulting from participation or prize use

12. Compliance with Laws

All contests are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

13. Rule Availability

These rules are available at the Station’s website or upon request during normal business hours.

14. Social Media Disclaimer

For contests conducted via social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and X):

  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with these platforms.
  • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless each platform from any responsibility or liability related to the contest.
  • Entrants understand that they are providing their information to [STATION NAME] and not to the social media platform.
  • The Station is not responsible for any technical issues, platform outages, delayed posts, comments, messages, or failures that may affect entry or participation.
  • The Station reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate platform rules, contain inappropriate or prohibited content, or are suspected of using automated, scripted, or fraudulent methods of entry.
  • Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and the Station reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • Entries must comply with the terms of service and community guidelines of the applicable platform.

15. User-Submitted Content & Publicity Release

By entering any contest conducted by LOUD 102.3 (the “Station”) that involves the submission of photos, videos, audio, text, or other materials (“Content”), entrants agree to the following:

  • Original Work Requirement: All submitted Content must be original to the entrant and must not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity/privacy. Entrants are solely responsible for securing any necessary permissions from individuals appearing in the Content.
  • Content Standards: The Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, remove, or disqualify any Content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, unlawful, or not in compliance with these rules or applicable laws.
  • License Grant: By submitting Content, entrants grant the Station a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit the Content, in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to promotional, marketing, advertising, and broadcast purposes, without further notice, approval, or compensation.
  • Publicity Release: By participating in the contest, entrants and winners grant the Station the right to use their name, voice, likeness, image, biographical information, and statements for promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes in any media, now or hereafter known, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law.
  • Release of Liability: Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Station and its affiliates from any claims arising from the use of submitted Content or the use of an entrant’s name, likeness, or other publicity rights as described herein.
