Officer testifies at South Side murder trial about finding murder weapon

Officer Gregory Mullenex told jurors before Judge John Durkin in the murder trial of Darnell Jones, 21, that he found the rifle in a wooded area across the street from where Ty’Lend Lewis, 21, was shot to death Sept. 11, 2023.
