That combination of potential and risk posed by rapidly developing technologies is why Workman has proposed House Bill 650, which would create a Frontier Technologies and Quantum Computing Commission. The commission would consist of nine members chosen by the Ohio House, Ohio Senate, and the Governor to hear expert testimony and prepare a report for lawmakers.
