Shapiro says Trump administration ‘whitewashing history’ in court filing over removal of slavery exhibit

Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) filed an amicus brief Tuesday in Philadelphia’s lawsuit against Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and acting National Park Service Director Jessica Bowron over the removal of a slavery exhibit, accusing the Trump administration of “whitewashing history.”
