Frost possible next week: When do we typically get our first frost or freeze?

Leaves are changing color, days are getting shorter, and days and nights are turning cooler across the region. While the normal low temperature doesn’t drop into the 30s until late October, we have already seen temperatures fall into the 30s once this fall. Colder nights bring the potential for frost, and we may see some frost across the region early next week.
